Diner Dash Grilling Green is a 2010 strategy and time-management video game developed by PlayFirst for Android and iOS devices.
It is a sequel to Diner Dash 4: Hometown Hero and prequel to Diner Dash 5: BOOM!, unlike Diner Dash: Sizzle & Serve (2007), Diner Dash Classic (2008), and Diner Dash (2009).
The game was removed from the iTunes App Store and Google Play following the release of the 2014 reboot.
Plot[]
The story takes place between Diner Dash 4: Hometown Hero and Diner Dash 5: BOOM! (due to Flo's Diner looking similar to how it was before the events of Diner Dash 5: BOOM!).
Flo and Grandma Florence are seen outside the diner with Flo installing a solar powered (green friendly) sign in order to match up with other restaurants in the area and making it the start of green powered equipment in the diner. Flo falls as she's installing it only to see Seymour the Senior whom tells her that she has to install green/earth friendly equipment, made by Green Burger or else she would have to shut down her diner after she asks why he is so early. He apologizes but says that he is just doing his job.
The game starts in Flo's Diner where Flo with the help of her Grandma have to serve customers and collect money for getting green friendly equipment.
After 10 levels in Flo's Diner, Toshiro rushes for help to make his Japanese Grill green. It's up to Flo and her Grandma Florence to save the Japanese Grill from Green Burger!
After 10 levels at Toshiro's Japanese Grill, Seymour promotes Toshiro to be officially greenified! Seymour asks Flo, Florence, and Toshiro about the anonymous calls why someone give Flo new light bulbs, give Toshiro a "Napkins come from trees" sign, and gives everyone greeny. It turns out, Green Burger is a front for Grub Burger, as the three shut them down! DinerTown is saved from Grub Burger's schemes for the second time......for now.
Gameplay[]
The game's sprites, sound effects and entire style are based on Diner Dash 5: BOOM! and the gameplay is generally the same as Diner Dash and Diner Dash Classic with a few additional features:
- Now customer's will have a requested food type which appears in a speech bubble above them.
- Players can merge orders if they're of the same food type so Grandma Florence can speed up the process.
- Players can help speedup the cooking with Grandma Florence, by using the Cooker 3000.

There are 4 types of characters in the game:
- Rosie the Regular – Doesn’t mind waiting and leaves decent tips
- Barb the Businesswoman – Very impatient, but leaves great tips
- Seymour the Senior – Extra patient, but he’s a slow eater
- Duncan the Dad – Fast eater, great tipper, but will demand fast service (He replaces Mr. Hot Shot.)
