Diner DASH Adventures, formerly known as Diner DASH Town, is a freemium time management and town design game developed and published by Glu Mobile. It takes place after Cooking Dash (2016). This game marks the return of Quinn, who was since suspended in hiatus for nearly a decade after Wedding Dash 4-Ever.

Story[]

Flo returns to DinerTown after starring on the popular television show COOKING DASH. However, she is shocked to find her beloved home in a bad way! After meeting with a distressed Cookie, she teams up with him to help repair the Greasy Spoon. She then goes around town to restore its venues, while helping old and new friends along the way. Meanwhile, Mr. Big and his goons try their hardest to hinder Flo's progress from the shadows.

Gameplay[]

One of the main goals in the game is to bring life back to different parts of DinerTown. In order to do so, the player must guide Flo through different venues and earn stars. Stars are needed to complete tasks, which in turn progress the story. Keys are a secondary currency that can be used to unlock certain items for the town.

So far, Diner Dash Adventures contains gameplay elements from both the original Diner Dash and Hotel Dash for various venues. All venues have different upgrades and gimmicks of their own. Upgrades are vital in completing future levels, which can be bought with coins and gems. As the game progresses, upgrades will become more expensive. Upgrading food items increase the coins earned, while upgrading customers increases the number of hearts earned. Upgrading the equipment increases its speed and improves productivity.

Additionally, the player is able to unlock various customizable outfits for Flo and the customers. The Greasy Spoon Outfit and Baseball Cap are initially unlocked for Flo, while the rest must be unlocked with the use of either Keys or Gems.

Story Venues[]

  • The Greasy Spoon Diner: Cookie's restaurant once again acts as the first level the player encounters.
  • DinerTown Inn: A worn-down hotel bought by Gladys. Flo joins her to bring it back to its former glory.
  • Trout of This World: A rusty fish shack now in the hands of Barb's husband, Gil. Flo helps raise money to repair the shack.
  • Just Cruise Inn: A luxurious cruise which was captained by narcissist Devon Aire. However, Norbert has taken the helm and now tends to the ship's groovy hotel.
  • Florence's Snack Shoppe: Gramma Florence's old carnival venue, which was swiped by Mr. Big while she was away. Now that she has returned, she wishes to reclaim it with her granddaughter's help.
  • Chez Petisserie: Previously an abandoned building within the zoo, Queenie and Flo have transformed it into a bakery. As the owner, Queenie bakes a wide assortment of baked goods and desserts, making her mother proud.
  • Treehouse Teahouse: Flo helps Barb make a hotel out of a giant artificially enlarged tree. Meanwhile, she tries to get the hard-working Barb to relax more often.

Event Venues[]

  • Game of Thorns: A side venue (taking place in The Greasy Spoon or The Dinertown Inn) which can only be accessed every other week, when the Game of Thorns event is active. Flo is uncovering the mystery of her grandmother's Victorian mansion, which is covered in a mass of thorns thanks to Mr Big's "Big Beam". The currency needed to complete tasks for this venue used to be "grandma's cookies", but has since been replaced by "sunflowers". However, cookies are still used as a point system for the online leaderboard.
  • Shiver Me Timbers: A side venue (taking place in Trout of This World or Just Cruise Inn) which can only be accessed every other week. The story starts with Cookie's frozen houseboat thanks to Operation: Freeze Laser and he needs Flo's help thawing out the mysteries of his family's pirate island. The currency needed to complete tasks was once pirate coins, but now sea stars. Pirates coins are still tallied for the online leaderboard.
  • Shakes' Food Truck: Another special weekly event that can be accessed every other week where Flo helps Shakes manage his food truck. The player has to collect as many Truck Bucks as they can. This event also has a leaderboard which rewards players who participate.
  • Minnie's Food Truck: Similar to Shake's Food Truck, this venue can only be accessed every other week. Flo helps Minnie manage her food truck. Rather than breakfast food, the food selection is Asian Cuisine. The player has to collect as many Truck Bucks as they can. Also like Shake's Food Truck, this event has a leaderboard which rewards players who participate.
  • Vera's Vault: An event mode which is similar to Cooking Dash's trial of style where the player has to take on multiple venues' levels reaching high scores and earning rewards.

  • Bigcorp Cafeteria: The evil Bigcorp's cafeteria where Flip is the cooker.
  • Chow Bella: An Italian style restaurant where Dorbert is the head chef.
  • The Big Scoop: An Ice Cream shop run by Mr. Big.
  • Garden of Eatin': A restaurant taking place inside a Greenhouse. Rosie runs the venue.
  • Bon Nyappétit: A Japanese styled restaurant filled with cats. Max is the owner.
  • The Beached Lifeguard: A relaxing tiki restaurant that Hal runs.
  • The Last Resort: A Halloween filled hotel that is run by an unknown Ghost.
  • Rey Del Taco: A Mexican themed restaurant run by Kingston.
  • Quinn Victoria's: A hotel filled with Christmas joy. Quinn manages the hotel.
  • Mad Science: A High Tech Factory restaurant that Lilworth works at.
  • Take a Bao: A Chinese themed restaurant opened by Piper Li.
  • K-Bops: A Korean-Pop hotel venue owned by Queenie.
  • Galactic Bytes: A Space themed Arcade that Minnie runs.
  • Cafe Rapide: A French styled cafe run by Beatrix.
  • Once Upon a Schwein: A German styled restaurant that Beatrix runs
  • Gold Rush BBQ: A Rodeo like eatery which Dorbert can be found working at.
  • Big Fat Greek Cafe: A Greek themed restaurant that Quinn runs
  • Under the Sushi: A Japanese undersea restaurant Rosie works at.
  • Thanks a Latte: A Spooky themed restaurant where Hal is seen working at.
  • Harvest Delight: A Fall themed restaurant run by Mr. Big.
  • The Cozy Shack: A Shack filled with Christmas joy. Norbert is the head chef here.
  • The Golden Pita: A Middle Eastern themed restaurant opened by Queenie.
  • Dragon's Kitchen: A Chinese styled hotel opened by Max.
  • Desi-licious: A Indian inspired restaurant where Cookie is the chef.
  • The BarCode: A Jazzy drinks only venue with Shakes being the barista.
  • All-Star Cafe: A Sports themed hotel run by Minnie.
  • Candyland: A Sweet venue filled with tasty desserts and lots of candy baked by Grandma Florence.
  • Bricks and Bites: A Diner filled with bricks from head to toe where Kingston is the chef.
  • Big Corp Hotel: A Hotel completely torn down but still up and running thanks to Beatrix.
  • Horizon Heights: A Jazzy high up diner run by Devon Aire.
  • Pumpkin Patch Palace: A Haunting Halloween diner that Rosie manages
  • Drive-in Dinnin': A Retro feeling drive-in diner opened by Gil
