Devon Aire is a character who made his debut in Diner DASH Adventures. He is a goon from Big Corp.
Bio[]
Mr. Big wanted to claim Grandma Florence's Snack Shoppe, as well as the amusement park that came with it. So he conspired with one of his henchman, Devon Aire, to get Grandma Florence out of town. At some point, Devon was able to get Grandma to wear his hypnotic glasses, causing her to swoon over him. With Grandma Florence under his control, Devon was able to take her on a cruise ship, the S.S. Baitenswitch, out of Dinertown for three years.
It was only when Flo and Gil had switched on the repaired Lighthouse that the duo returned to Bistro Bay's shore. As soon as the ship docked, Devon bolted off the ship and into town, desperate to be back on land. Since Devon had abandoned ship, Grandpa Norbert decided to take over as Captain.
After learning of Devon's influence on Florence and a lot of trial and error, Flo and Norbert successfully remove Devon's glasses, returning Florence to normal. When Devon learns of this, he becomes greatly sour, especially towards Norbert. Later while Flo and friends try to set up a date for Florence and Norbert, Devon comes over and confronts Dorbert, mistaking him for Norbert.
Little did the group know, the glasses had fallen onto a giant squid, causing it to become dangerously infatuated with Devon, stranding him with Dorbert. Thankfully, Florence was able to call upon the giant pond fish, Goldie, who was able to run off the squid, but not without splatting Devon with squid ink. With Goldie's help, Devon ends up wearing his own glasses, becoming more infatuated with himself even more than before.
Gameplay wise, Devon is a goon, therefore he is impatient and has a trick up his sleeve. When sat at a table or placed in a room, Devon emits an alluring aura that slows Flo down. This can be negated by DASH mode or the Fast Flo boost.
Appearance[]
Devon's debut
Initially, Devon appears with light skin, a cleft chin, a mustache, dark hair which is slicked back, and blue eyes, wearing an orange ascot with a full white suit and black shoes. During the squid incident, he's left with a few ink spots on his suit. Afterwards, he's been completely drenched in squid ink, giving him a grayer skin tone and a full black suit. As of now, he wears the mind control glasses that were originally on Grandma Florence.
Personality[]
Devon can appear handsome and charming at first glance, but he's actually a narcissistic goon who loves attention. He immediately becomes envious of anyone who contests his spotlight and will do anything to keep the attention.
